I could have driven down there, I'm a half hour away right now. But I didn't want to walk in at 3 mins. to closing time. I also didn't want to pay 4.99 a pound, as I have observed in 1 store. Call ahead and get heart burn for it. There are competitors.

TOO BUSY to help the customer!!!! I called and wanted bolt pound prices. I was transferred to the kid on the floor. It was 15 min to closing, JUST HAPPENED! I explained that they closed the one near me in Raymore, Mo. I should NOT have to explain, to get the lazy employee to confirm the price per pound. I told him that I have been to many Orscheln stores, and they have different nuts and bolt prices. His response was:"They all should be the same." They are not. Also at his guess of $1.99 per pound for all bolts; that would be an excellent price. He said I think they all should be $1.99 per pound. What he THINKS and what is for sure; are 2 different things. Did he guess right? We will never know. But it would have been wrong in the past. Have you priced nuts and bolts recently? I haven't seen cadmium plated bolts below 2.99 per pound in years! The floor boy must of had plans for the evening. Lose his job, and he can flush the plans! It is nearly an hour drive each way for me to travel to their store. They just lost about 300 dollars in a bulk bolt sale, if their price was appropriate. I also will end up paying much more at the big box stores, or local hardware store. So the "too busy" ASSociate needs to loose something too. I.E. his job.
I've always found what I went there for at a decent price and a lot of things I didn't know I needed. If they have a special sale, they will hold things for me that are too big for my car until my husband gets off work and can pick it up in the truck. Never had a problem with this store.....
